In plain words
The project starts when you pay the deposit (50%). The balance is paid before we hand over the final files. If you cancel before we start, we refund the deposit; if we've started, the work done is charged. Monthly plans are paid in advance each month. Clients outside Mexico pay in USD. A project with no reply for 30 days is considered abandoned and reactivating it has a cost.
1. Deposit and balance
To start a project a deposit of 50% of the package or quote price is required. The balance (50%) is paid before the final files are delivered. Until the full amount is settled, the Studio may deliver review versions with a watermark or in low resolution.
The deposit reserves dates and covers preparation work. Monthly plans (social media management, monthly content, campaigns) are paid in advance at the start of each service month.
Per-unit video edits ($300 MXN per video) and packs are paid as the quote states, with the same deposit scheme when the total is more than one video.
2. Payment methods
We accept bank transfer and any other methods indicated in the quote. Payment details are sent only through official communication channels. If you receive different payment details through another channel, confirm them with us before paying. Bank or payment platform fees are paid by the payer unless agreed otherwise.
3. Late payments
If a payment isn't made on the agreed date, the Studio may pause work, move delivery dates and charge late interest of 3% per month on the overdue balance. Work paused for non-payment resumes once it's settled, subject to the Studio's availability.
4. Invoicing and taxes
Invoicing is agreed in the quote and the service contract. If you need an invoice, request it when you hire.
Unless the quote says otherwise, prices don't include VAT. If you need an invoice, send us your tax details before paying, because we can't issue one after the tax period in which it was paid has closed.
5. Clients outside Mexico and USD payments
If you live outside Mexico, we quote and charge in US dollars (USD) at the site's reference exchange rate, or the one confirmed in the quote. Fees and taxes in your country or on the payment platform are your responsibility. The USD amount quoted to you is the one we must receive net.
6. Cancellation by project stage
You can cancel at any time by notifying us in writing (WhatsApp). What's refunded depends on the stage:
- Before the Studio starts work (no accepted brief or production): refund of 100% of the deposit.
- With work already started: 0% of the deposit is refunded, and work done up to that point is charged, including third-party costs already incurred. If the work done is worth more than the deposit, the difference is settled.
- With work delivered or approved: no refund, except for errors attributable to the Studio that aren't fixed during follow-up support.
- Photo or video sessions: the rescheduling and cancellation rules in the Delivery, revisions and changes policy also apply.
If the Studio can't deliver the service for its own reasons, it refunds what you paid for the part not provided.
7. Monthly plans
You can cancel a monthly plan by giving notice before the next service month begins. The current month is already in production and paid in full, with no prorated refund. There's no penalty for cancelling between months.
8. Inactive or abandoned project
If 30 calendar days go by without you replying, approving or delivering what's needed, the project is considered abandoned. The deposit isn't refunded and the work done is charged. To reactivate it, you'll pay a fee of 20% of the outstanding balance and we'll resume it subject to our availability, with new dates.
9. How refunds are made
When a refund applies, it's made through the same payment method within a maximum of 15 business days of confirmation, minus non-recoverable payment platform fees. Third-party costs paid on your behalf (licenses, printing, ad spend, domains) aren't refundable by the Studio.
10. Third-party costs
Ad spend, printing, domains, hosting, licensed music or resources and the like are paid by you directly to the provider, or we pay them on your behalf and pass them on to you with a receipt, always with your prior approval. See additional costs in the Terms and conditions.
If the Spanish and English versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.
